We help our community become more empowered.

We offer services and programs that help people to lead healthy and active lifestyles.

With additional helping hands, we can serve more people.

We do this with the support of community volunteers of all ages and experiences who help power our organization at every level. From cooking to serving, from tabling at events to entering data in our office, our amazing volunteers contribute their knowledge and experiences, learn new skills, and have a lot of fun.

We serve our community year round.

A variety of volunteer opportunities are available throughout the year. To see how you might get involved in these or other opportunities, complete the online volunteer interest form but do not attend a volunteer event until your participation is confirmed with CVCR.

Liability Waiver & Photo Release: I agree to assume all risks and responsibilities while volunteering with CVCR and will not hold CVCR responsible for any accident or injury incurred while volunteering. I give CVCR permission to use photographs/videos taken of myself while volunteering in agency publications and communications.

Sexual Abuse, Harassment, and Misconduct Policy: CVCR prohibits and does not tolerate sexual abuse, harassment, or misconduct in the workplace or during any organization-related activity. Please read this excerpt from our policy. The full version is available upon request. Sexual Abuse, Harassment, and Misconduct includes but is not limited to: any sexual contact with a minor or someone who is not legally able to give consent; physical assaults or violence; unwanted physical contact; inappropriate sexual attention; displaying or viewing sexually explicit images; intimidation, threats, or statements that may create an intimidating or hostile environment or which impacts employment or affiliation with the organization. Please report any violations of this policy to CVCR staff. CVCR will initiate investigation of all reports, which may include reporting to law enforcement or child protective services. CVCR prohibits retaliation against reporters and prohibits making false or malicious allegations. Criminal background and sexual offender registry checks will be conducted for all employees who work with minors and may be conducted for volunteers.
